Our evening’s theme will be “Create Hope in the World”, which is the Rotary International theme for 2023-24.
Rotary is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever. Rotary International’s most successful and sustainable projects and activities tend to fall within the following areas:
Promoting Peace, Fighting Disease, Providing Clean Water, Saving Mothers and Children, Supporting Education, Growing Local Economies, and Protecting Our Environment.
The Rotary Club of Aurora United directs our efforts to enhance our local and global impact in these areas by partnering with our local Food Pantries, Shelters, and Youth Groups to change the lives of those within our community. Our club also provides significant support to an exceptional Foreign Exchange Student Program as well as sponsors Rotary Interact Clubs at Rosary High School and Marmion Academy.
At the Wine & Chocolate Extravaganza, our guests will enjoy wine, chocolate, appetizers, and a full sit-down dinner. We will have a special drawing for all attendees, a game of Heads or Tails, and silent and live auctions that round out the evening of fun and fellowship.
We have plenty of room for you to join us for our annual event. If you can’t join us for the evening, we have other ways for you to support our efforts. The Rotary Club of Aurora United offers the following sponsorship levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. We are accepting donations of auction items, gift cards etc. or you can simply become a “Friend of Rotary” with a monetary donation. All donors will be acknowledged at the event.
